A Family Church

Our prayer for every gathering is that you would feel welcomed and sense the presence of God. We want you to leave amazed at God’s radical love expressed through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our mission statement expresses our faith for every person – Finding Hope, Building Lives. Our goal is to be a place where you can find hope in God and allow the Holy Spirit to build your life in Him.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart (Jer. 29:11,13).

Pastor Ross & Valencia Lortie

Jesus Christ’s love is shown in His leaving His home in heaven, to come to earth as a man where He would be mocked, betrayed, beaten, and crucified on a cross to pay the penalty for our sin, rising again from the dead on the third day.

First, His love is shown by God the Father sending his only begotten son into the world because he loved us.  And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (Jn. 1:14).Secondly, the Lord Jesus did experience temptation, yet he did not sin: For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Heb. 4:15).Thirdly, the Lord endured betrayal by a close follower. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot….and he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them (Lu. 22:3-4).Fourthly, Christ's love was shown through the pain he suffered until his death upon the cross. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Ro. 5:8).

The Grace of God

God is the creator of the universe and giver of all that is good. God is the savior—known boldly and intimately in Jesus and his life, death, and resurrection—who shows us how to live and love. God is the Spirit who enables us to make a difference in our world and the lives of others.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will stengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
